Our Goals
General Overview : We have successfully developed and initiated community development projects in the Suburban Kolkata (Thakurpukur and South 24 parganas Disrict Region) and Tribal Region of Keshiary in Paschim Medinipur (West Midnapore) District from 2005.
These projects have targeted poverty alleviation and social empowerment with a focus on marginalized children with disabilities, orphan children, youth, women and elderly people.
Development Projects : In particular, projects dealing and completed include-
  • Education for children with disabilities and under privileged tribal children
  • Computer training, spoken and written English course among Under privileged and Tribal Communities. 
  • Vocational training projects among physically challenged youths and tribal Communities.
  • Leadership training for the youths.
  • Health care and hygiene programs for women and communities
  • Free weekly health clinic.
  • Free legal aid service.
  • Art and Craft Training for Orphan Girls.
  • Rescuing and rehabilitating elderly destitute.
  • Clean neighbourhood (Swach Bharat Avijan) and tree planting programs.
  • Tribal art and culture programs in schools and communities.
  • Community Visit and helps in times of natural disasters and needs.
Mission Partners : Noah’s Ark’s biggest resource is its people, and has a history of consistent support through both international and local volunteers. All of the professional staff offer their consultation, skills and work either free of charge or for a small fee, and help to connect the community and Noah’s Ark by working in a professional capacity in other offices in the region
